Your Digital Darkroom Using Photoshop
Combine Computers and Photography, and you have the recipe for what I have developed as my business. Years of working in computer labs teaching at SCCC, repairs and home visits for instructing individuals, and taking the digital camera to the digital darkroom of Photoshop has expanded my line of work to meet just about everyone’s needs.
At Schenectady County Community College I taught classes that helped people learn various computer skills. I also taught different levels of Digital Photography for the beginner and on to the more advanced techniques offered in Adobe Photoshop. My love for the computer and for teaching gives me a chance to instruct individuals on the many ways they can integrate their daily interests with the use of their personal computers.
“Sometimes I do get to places just when God’s ready to have somebody click the shutter.”
Photography has always been a part of my life, going back to the time when my Dad was a free-lance photographer for local newspapers, fire & police departments, and having a camera in hand for those unexpected events he’d always capture. Passing the torch from silicon film to the digital darkroom has been exciting and rewarding. Adding Photoshop to the equation has brought a whole new dimension to this media with endless possibilities!
As a 5 time KINSA award winner and member of the International Library of Photography, my goal is to always seek to do the best I can with composing and capturing my images for my enjoyment and the enjoyment of others.
